Crondall Wild Run
Run wild for the David Hoyle Foundation
David was a well-known member of the community of Crondall, and one of the aims of the foundation is to ensure a long-lasting legacy concerning the areas of conservation and community development in his home village.
With this in mind, on the 2nd June 2019, the foundation held the first "Crondall Wild Run", a family friendly event that involved three cross-country style races and runs over various distances, suitable for everyone - from experienced runners to complete novices, families, children and those that just wanted to jog around the beautiful Hampshire countryside!
The Crondall Wild Run started and finished at Hook Meadow in the centre of Crondall (click here to see a map) and was focused around the Village Hall (Croft Lane, Crondall, Farnham GU10 5QG).
There were three separate runs of 2K, 5K and 10K (about 1.2 miles, 3.1 miles and 6.2 miles) over an undulating course that was mainly off-road on foot paths and bridle ways.
Well over 150 competitors took part and you can download the results by clicking here.
